TrustedID provides a "total identity” protection package for the entire family. TrustedID procedures are designed to significantly reduce the risk of credit fraud, with a service guarantee backed by $1,000,000 in identity theft insurance from AIG and Lloyds of London.
TrustedID’s Lender DoubleCheck™ and IDFreeze™ services require credit grantors to get your approval by phone before taking any action that may affect your credit. For an additional charge, Trusted ID’s CreditLock™ lets you direct the three credit bureaus to only release their credit reports to third parties with your permission. Customers using this service need to unlock their reports before they apply for credit, so it’s currently only available in states where laws allow consumers to lock their own credit reports. Clients automatically receive a credit report from Equifax, Experian and TransUnion every year. If they have any questions, they can get answers from an identity theft and restoration specialist at any time, via telephone or email.
TrustedID removes your name from the marketing databases that Equifax, Experian and TransUnion sell. This stops pre-approved credit card offers – a leading source of identity theft. Trusted ID monitors your credit card number to help determine if it’s been stolen. You’ll get an immediate email alert whenever IDFreeze™ finds signs that your information has been compromised, providing an early warning of theft.
